Got Patio Furniture now where they belong

This statement is just in case you might think that the extra piece on the left end of the sofa is for your legs. It's meant to hold larger quantities of liquid refreshment............................ Frankie

Back Cushions around 2.5cm to far to the left, we were told at the time that the one in the showroom was not right but the ones we would receive would not be like that. Had notification from Sofaworks to tell us they are all built that way so offered a full refund and took it. We then looked at all the retail outlets and have worked out ignore the Salesman and if it is wrong when its in the showroom then it will be wrong when it arrives.
Every sofa we liked had issues with. DFS one did not have enough filling and the guy told us if we wanted versace quality we would have to pay versace prices. Scs leather looked a bit low quality.
We are paying quite a bit for the Sofas so we just want them to be of the Quality you would expect.
We did notice that all the best Sofas quality wise were the Italian made ones and one shop told us that would be the best way to go. But we did not like the UK Sofas that were on offer. So now we have no sofas as our original ones we got rid the day the new sofas would of arrived.
We have now gone direct to an Italian Manufacture and should get delivery in the next 5 weeks.
So now we are on these till they arrive. Kim was thinking of buying a sofa till the new ones arrived but i said it would be too much hassle.

Possible alternative solution to....................

Cut a hole in the wall. Install a garage door. Use this to drive the Z into the room. Result..........You get to keep the car out of the elements, you have a place to work on it, you can sit in it and watch the telly as if you're in the drive-in movies. Just bring the popcorn...............

Did to start with until I got the new refrigerator to park next to it, now the extra space on the left is where I put my pizza's...;)
 
Found out why it was in the sale so cheap when it got delivered, bloody thing came in one piece, had to take a big window out on the first floor to get it in the apartment. My mate was half way up a ladder with it balanced on his head while me and the glazier were trying to haul it in. Payed the glazier with a bottle of Bacardi, that's what friends are for....:)
 
@hard top had a similar problem when we moved into our cottage in Cornwall from a semi in West Brom. Couldn't get our three piece suite into the house. The front door is a non standard size and couldn't accommodate anything much bigger than an ironing board and our windows are small too. Ended up leaving it outside on the garden. We had to go out and find furniture that would look better in a dolls house =))
 
@billz if you want something to get by my mate is having a new suite delivered next week and he's got 2 two-seaters free for collection to see you through if it's any good. In Ilkeston.

Thanks for the offer but i got notified yesterday ours will be delivered on Wednesday. Which is a damn site better than the companies over here. 2 Weeks from order to being made and delivered from Italy. Can not ask for much more than that

Well our sofas turned up today so no more patio chairs till the weather warms up.

So far after looking round them i can not fault them. 16 days from order to being delivered to my front room.
