Thanks guys.
don't get me wrong, I still love Z3s.
But my plan is to travel a lot during the rest of my days and wouldnt mind adding miles to the Z as long as it didnt need any more attention.
clearly ten years in storage killed many parts of the engine and although I did my best to swap whatever I could, it still needed many more in order to be a super reliable vehicle for long distances.
the current owner intends to store it and keep it as part of his garage collection (so most of my maintenance was probably pointless for him) and maybe that is the best decision for that specific car. Who knows, maybe in ten years it will pop eyes at an auction.
As for the Mazda, zero maintenance, two years warranty, power, handling and modern safety features are my weapons on my “visit Greece” plan for the next years.
after all, I am also a foreigner to this country and still exploring it. Better do it trouble free!
Cheers.
