What a great day out for petrol heads, the two youngsters walked my legs off, sons stepometer thingy read 17000 when we got back to the car and we still didn’t see it all.
The wifes foot spa will come in handy very shortly. Sorry no pics cos my phone memory was full. May get some from my son. On reflection we should have purchased stand tickets. No where to park you bum when it’s busy there.
Great array of some very very nice cars old and new.
Loved every minute even with the sun baking down on me.

I went yesterday, great day, There is plenty of grass to sit on. You need more than one day to see it all but today was Flying Legends at Duxford.
There was indeed Mike but all the shaded grass was taken up and when you sit you can't see over the straw bales so you tend to stay on your feet. Next time will have stand tickets then will be able to sit and rest without missing any track events. So glad my son bought me these tickets for Xmas rather than socks.
Hope your Duxford trip was as good as my FOS trip Mike.

Duxford was great, the best yet. 2 hectic days but worth it. This retirement is just the job.
Have you seen the price of stand tickets at goodwood.
No haven't seen the price Mike, maybe take a pair of stilts if seats are that expensive.

Ok, I've looked on the net but can't find a pic of someone sitting on one of these, do you sit astride it or what, do you hammer it into the ground, can you swivel on it.
