Hi, I believe I may have met you on Sunday at the Goodwood Breakfast Club Soft-top Sunday" meeting. It was an enjoyable morning, and wasn't the weather fantastic, especially to start with early on! My original Z3 was fitted with Michelins, as was my second, and my current one too. Were I to renew my tyres again I'd go back to them without a doubt. I fitted Bridgestone Potenza tyres to my second Z3, they were fine but no difference discernable to the original Michelins. I've recently fitted Continental Sport Contact 5 to my current car, there's a strong tendency to tram-line which could be the tyres or it could be the larger wheels I fitted at the same time. I think the Michelins suit this car better than anything, and of course, they're the factory fitted originals.

Hi Bonzo, it would have been pre 1997 when Freddie Sutherland was the landlord. Not sure if that was too long ago for you!

Yes it was John, we only started gigging regularly sometime in 1997. I did my last gig with them on New Year's eve 2012. I was the only original member left. Not a bad run, and such a buzz.
