Sadly I see Tim Brooke-Taylor has died with the virus. One of that great crop of 60 s funny men. Loved watching the Goodies in the 70 s. Amongst many other things he co-wrote the classic Monty Python 'Four Yorkshiremen'.

Bugger :(

Gave pleasure to many, no one is exempt. At least he had a good innings

Funny memories of Tim Brooke Taylor :(
So sad

He was a truly funny man but sadly his passing, even from this virus, will mean nothing to the braindeads who continue to congregate in large numbers and flout the ban.

Tony.

Very sad to see. I was an avoid Goodies fan in the 70s. And I always stopped what I was doing to watch him if he popped up on TV. Good man.

Tim Brooke-Taylor lived up to the Goodies name, shame that Bill Oddie lives up to his. He was the least funny of the three.

Tony.

Tim Brooke-Taylor was in some good things at the time that some would forget now. I used to enjoy Me and My Girl (with Richard O'Sullivan - another good man) and of course he voiced Bananaman as well (with the other Goodies).

I would sadly have to agree. Always seems very grumpy. Graeme Garden is always fun to see when he pops up though.

Very sad that he has been the victim of this dreaded virus. As well as being very funny with the Goodies, I have been enjoying his participation for years a panellist on ISIHAC ( Radio 4's I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue). Saw some of the shows live at Newcastle City Hall which were absolutely hilarious.

Along with Eddie large last week another sad passing .
Used to watch the Goodies all the time when I was young ones that still stick in my head was the jack and the beanstalk episode and the big foot episode both very funny.

Was thinking when watching that now how young the Goodies look ( as that's how i remember them ) it was more how young
The Bass City Rollers look .

Just because I had looked it up
The Funky Gibbon was released in March 1975 stayed in the charts for 10 weeks reaching a peak position of number 4.

Loved the Goodies in the seventies. Anybody remember Eky Thump & the song Black Pudding Bertha? Tim Brook Taylor was great on I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue on radio 4.

Ian.

Ooh black pudding, ooh black pudding. Yep, remember that!

Tony.
