Didn't know that, so much of it about. Thankfully it appears you discovered it early and was dealt with speedily which is good all round news. Was it Marymac who had similar experience? How are things with her also? Not really met you but pleased it's hopefully been nipped in the bud, you are fortunate also to have the support of Dave who appears a decent all round sort of chap. Enjoy Christmas now it's not hanging over your head. Have you had a chat with Marymac (assuming I've remembered that correctly)

Best wishes to you and Dave, Pauline and here's to a speedy recovery. You obviously will be fine as you are such a positive person which is what is needed. Hell you even managed to get up the steps on crutches ;)

Thanks Adrian, yes I've had loads of chats with Mary over the last 12months not realizing that it would be her turn to support me now.
It's lovely to get lots of good wishes from all my friends on the forum and for the support they will give to Dave.

Yes your right Toby, broken leg 2015, cancer 2016 and nothing 2017, now that sounds good doesn't it.
If you don't go on any other cruises it'll be at Tony's again, you need to get out more lol
 
Thanks for thinking of me @Synclare. I am well now after the all clear in September. Have just visited the consultant again this past week and all is still ok.
Pauline and all the EAC were there for me and now it's my turn to be there for Pauline.

It was a great pleasure to meet you on Limborit, this summer and I'm sure the results will be good and we will see you again in the close future! Keep optimistic, as you always do and everything will go well! Wish you quick recovery!

I'll also be glad to see the back of this year, think I have spent more time in hospital this year than I have out and its been the worst year of my life (despite buying a new zed, oh and getting engaged). I got told I had gallstones a few weeks ago as well as everything I've been through this year, so I need to have an op in the new year to remove my gallbladder so its a low fat diet until then on top of the fact I can never drink alcohol again as well, merry christmas! It has taught me that life is too short and you should go out and do and get the things you love the most.

I hope all who have had health issues have a better 2017 and those that haven't continue to be healthy and keep this community the wonderful place that it is and long continue the happy outings in our zeds :coolsteer) Oh and wish for lots of zed presents from the Santa

Well I've been OK this year. My run of health issues was last year. Hopefully it'll be a long time until I see a hospital bed again.

Excellent news, glad to hear you have been supportive to Pauline in return, a positive mental approach is also of importance. :thumbsup:
 
I was shocked to read the first part of this @Mrs Mint and I wish you all the best in the new year!! As Hugh put it you have plenty of posstives in your life so I expect you'll bounce right back and be on the road again soon. Merry Christmas to you both from Canada JIM
