6 hour drive down, roof down all the way.
It's true at 70 rain showers do not enter the cabin. You get funny looks though:D

Let's hope boat don't get blown of this time.

Looks lovely :)
Hope you have a lovely day tomorrow ;)

Saw some really nice Bream today @Nally, mind you they were in Asda at Yarmouth.;)

Tony.

Have fun , it sure is a lovely day :p

Cracking day out.

2 Turbot, 2 strap conger (on Bream gear, small hooks and small bait) and hours of entertainment with hard fighting Bream :)

@t-tony You don't get Bream like this in ASDA. ;)

After a 5 AM start and 9 hours on the boat and a 5 hour drive back i'm cream crackered and sunburnt, most excellent !

(Turbot, Eels and 95% of Bream returned safely)

Looks like you had a cracking day out pal, something I would really enjoy

That looks to have been a great day out. Really Envious !
Makes me think I should get up into the loft and get my gear down to check and clean everything.

Got my tackle out today for the first time in about 20 years. ( I look forward to the obvious answers to that =)))

All the rods ok, no rust, and the three reels are pretty good.
The big one has some corrosion on the cross bars ( probably due to salt ) but the other two just needed a wipe over and are fine.
Things were obviously built to last back then

The stuff in the background, Knife, scissors, reel spanner, disgorger, some mackerel fethers and a weighing spring have not faired well, but may clean up.

Now just need a Z3 towbar, boat and some lugworms :)
