Unfortunately I fear many more of these types of stories raising their heads in the not too distant Andy.
On a slightly related theme Briggs & Stratton (US) have also gone belly up.
Wish I had a pound for every B&S motor out there. In fact a pound for every one I've worked on would be nice!

If they all dragged some of their money back from the off shore accounts maybe they could save their sorry arses till things pick up. Watch how many come alive again with the money they weren't prepared to use to weather the storm. Petrol heads the world over will buy from the ones that survive who haven't cut and run, good riddance.
The staff out of work suffer yet again.
