Perfect weather for a top down ride in the Zed to Blickling Hall in Norfolk. Couldn't believe my eyes, I saw 3 x Z4, and 1x Z3 with their roofs and windows tightly closed. Why have a convertible if you are not going to put the roof down? You're not going to get much better weather than today for heaven's sake.

Apart from that moan, we had a lovely time. Buckling Hall is beautiful and very interesting. Anne Boleyn's family owned it for a time.

Hi Mary, sometimes, if its to hot, it just gets to much with the roof down and its nice to put the roof and windows up and airco on. (if you have it)

Spot on @MaryMac We were out for a top down drive today and saw at least one convertible with the top firmly closed...not a Zed though.

I also agree @hard top but today was not one of those days. It has been a beautiful English spring day. Sunshine, temperatures in the low to mid 20s, not too humid.....a perfect top down driving day. :):):racecar:

Agree with all comments it's a tricky one getting just the right temp for roof down sometimes it just has to go up the sun can be vicious when to hot resulting in burnt skin.
Trouble with UK it's either freezing or roasting hot we very rarely get pleasant comfortable heat.
But nice when we do.

Roof down its the law! If it's a tad warm bang a cap on. Put it on backwards if your neck starts to burn, you may look a complete dick but your roof will be down and you won't get burnt! :D

....and go faster to get the cooling effect of the wind :D

I have to be cooking to put the roof up. Only done it twice in 2 years and that was 40 degrees in the Z3 and 35 degrees in the Z4 and that was because we were stuck in traffic. Mind i have seen a Red Z3 Silver Z4 and a Black Z3 all around Langley Mill all with tops down. The Black Z3 had 2 women and the Zed was quite smart also =)). It has been horrible to have such great weather and no Zed to drive around in. Hope its this nice when we get it back next Saturday

That's fine Ian as long as you stay within the speed limits!
To be honest, don't think we got above a leisurely 40 for most of the afternoon - only a short stretch of dual carriageway (ooh - and when we were catching up with a green Z3 (hood down) that was driving through town when we got back :D)

Been to Ross on Wye today and that means motorways but roof been down all the way there and back,

Would have loved to go the scenic route but time demands said otherwise,
Saw a Z3 on the M50 with the roof up:banghead: but at one point in line was a New Merc SLK, A Z4 and me at the tail. Looked great with all the roofs down..

Drove from Gretna Green to West Brom with the top down in very hot sun. I look like I've had a head transplant

Top down weather here, but, as has been said when you get stuck in traffic you do start to sizzle. I always have a cap on and I'm admitting I forgot to pack my .org cap so it's been my old favourite white " No name pub" one. Yesterday evening just after dusk was great top down cruising time, still warm but a nice breeze too.
Hope you lot don't use all this nice weather before we get back to some zedding:thumbsup:

Tony.

Glad you had a good day @MaryMac :p
We went out in the Z too top down of cause ;)
Beautiful weather ;)

It was a good day, Shelly. First time for ages that a trip out didn't involve the hospital. Lol

That's good Mary :p
Glad you and Richard had a good day ;)
