Restoring an old British car can be daunting, I know been there it never ends.
Yes me too, five Triumph Heralds three Vitesses and a Spitfire to my name.
Although the Spitfire was pretty good when l got it.
l had on street parking only.
l remember fitting new doors to a Vitesse in the pub car park opposite our house.
The faces on the people sat outside when l walked up to the car, removed the drivers door, then walked off with it.
Nobody questioned me though.

In fairness you can still pick yourself up a Sapphire Cosworth for under £10k. Wouldn't be the best one but you can do it.
