Gearbox Swap - Getrag to ZF

Morning,

I'm currently looking at beginning to accumulate parts to swap over the Getrag 240 to ZF 320 on my 2002 Z3.
The reason for the swap is that I have changed my engine from 2.2 to 3.0, as I am potentially planning on a trackday or two I would ideally like the beefier gearbox to avoid any issues.

I have found a breaker with a 98' 2.8, ideally would like to get all the bits in one hit, so far I have on my list;
- Gearbox
- Propshaft
- Linkages

Should there be any other parts I add to the list?

The prop should be okay. Unless you have a Sport with the LSD, the 2.2 168 diff is 8mm shorter. You should be okay but you might have to fit the 2.8 front half to the 2.2 rear.
Tbh I think you’ll be okay just fitting the 2.8 prop.
