Just putting the transmission back together. Giving it all a degrease before going back in.
The selector rod bearing is very crusty inside. Is that dirt I should scrape out? Or is it a hardened bushing?
Really don't want to hold things up any more getting a new part. But on the other hand don't want to bodge it.
Selector rod seal was gone. What a nightmare that was. I made the mistake of trying to remove the old one. Don't bother! It's next to impossible. Just bang another on top. And that was a bugger to get in too.
And yes I should have done this job while the box was out...
