Hi everyone,

Again more issues with my cheap z3. At least the weather is nice to fix them. And I hope I actually can fix them.

So first one and biggest one. I found petrol outside the fuel tank locking cap.It looks like

there's also a hole in it? I don't know what a good one looks like but why would there be a hole?! To be fair I don't know if that hole goes all the way

through but I can't fine any other explanations for the gas being there.
I was driving a bit too fast around some corners in some back roads before I noticed that so it could also be my cap not dealing properly?!

If anyone has any experience with similar issues please tell me if this is serious and my fuel tank needs replacing or if after drifting this tends to happen.

Then my mirror fell off it looks like the previous guy just glued it in the worst way possible. I don't know how to disassemble it or how the internals look. What parts should I buy to fix that?

It looks like the filler cap is past its sell by, try Andy @spurs fan in a coupe he may have a used one. He may also have a mirror too.

New cap for sure, the small hole in the surround is a water drain, yours looks well blocked, it runs in a pipe to the bottom of the car and drains out under the sill. Best get some thick strimmer line and poke it down the hole to clear the debris thats blocked it. Once clear pour some water down it and check it drains freely underneath.
