I enjoyed my time at Harlech Castle although I wasn't keen walking the battlements but the views of the flat lands below are great.
 
We went to the battlements but didn't take any photos. The views are amazing, especially out over the sea, you need to see it to appreciate how high you are above the sea level. Walking up the towers was a bit dicey as the steps are very small and wedge shaped. Medieval guys must have had small feet.
