Can anyone suggest the cause of this discolouration on the leaves of some of my tomato plants please? I don't think it is blight because it isn't "blotchy".

It may be overwatering ...?

Hi Tony.. I think too much heat /sun young plants need to be protected from direct sun ,my dad used to use a green mesh in the green house on the most exposed sides

Thank you Billy, they have been in the conservatory and it has been warm in there.

No mate, I don't feed tomatoes until the first fruits have set.

I should think it’s over watering 🌞
Id also give them a small feed and put them outside for a while during the day if it’s sunny 🙂

Yep we are putting them out in the morning and bringing them in at night to protect them from frost. I think it is over watering which is the issue.

Nothing better than home grown tomatoes 🌞
They taste lovely 🙂

They do Shelly. You can’t beat food which has ripened naturally and not being “forced” as most supermarket food is.

Can't argue there mate.=))=)) Although, I did repair a couple of loose boards on a panel this afternoon, so I'm getting close ........................................ r.

I would think over watering.
I now have mie in the green house in special pots sitting in grow bags so that the roots get larger, The pots are about 10" wide with an open bottom but with a shelf part way down with hyoles in where you water and it goes stright into grow bag wherer roots are, I find then very useful. I only start feeding when the first truss appears.

Agree too much sun and poss. water. no feed until fruiting.

It’s overwatering in the sunshine and heat.

I think most have recovered thanks Geoff. A few may not.
