I live in West Yorkshire and as such can anyone recommend a garage that can move my roof motor and fit the roof module I've just bought?

This job has been done loads of times by owners on here and there may be a guide somewhere on how to do it yourself
The roof module is easy if you're at all mechanically minded, but a few of the Z4 owners have had their roof motors relocated so someone will no doubt be along to tell you. @billz @MAURICE THE MARTIAN

@MAURICE THE MARTIAN may still have the contact details for the guy in Durham takes him around 40 mins to do. You can then use the day to drive over Hartside lovely road to drive.
The module is a fairly simple diy task if you are any good at soldering. The kit comes with crimps but they are very unreliable. I fitted them on mine and could not get it to work, i then soldered them and everything was fine

Did you get the Gaptech + or the basic ?
The Gaptech + allows you the one touch operation when sat in the cab instead of having to keep your finger on the button to open or close the roof

I purchased the Gaptech +; if I'm getting it done may as well do it all.
Hi Paul.the guy to do the roof motor is Dave .lives nr Tow Law Durham.expert roof motor re locator as well as a bloody good mechanic.mob no 07864 860960..
He's done loads of these now an at £80 bargain
