Took the train up inside the Eiger once, it's a hell of a long way down from the window in the North face. Makes Snowdonia seem quite homely in comparison. Nothing wrong with that, but it's probably the (relative) lack of peril that leads to so many people falling off Snowdon and dying. Somebody managed it last year off the PYG track. WTF do you have to do to die there?

What a great trip that was. It brings back some special memories for me. Can’t wait to make some new ones.
