Lovey drive we then went to the old cobbled gothard pass and the wobbly bridge on the nufenpass lovely day it was when I cooked my brakes on the way d lol

Wow, some amazing footage driving down the mountain road, that's a road you wouldn't want to come off and find the quick route. Twitchy bum time.

The disks on Sarah’s 2.8 remind me of that trip every time I drive it as the got so hot they warped trying to lose @Lee on the way down

Is there still a place where you can pay yer cash and wander round inside the Rhonegletscher? Went there back in the 70s with the first wife and had a stroll inside a big blue world. It may well have surrendered to global warming by now.

No it’s still there been passed it about 6 times and keep saying we’ll go in but never have.

Give it a try next time, it still stands out in my memory after all these years. That was the day we went over the Grimsel, Furka, and Susten passes, a hell of a lot of up and down. And left and right, too. Mk1 Consul coupe, V6, RWD, pile of cack really, but fun.

Lovely route we usually spend a morning going up the Eiger (cable car) then do a few passes run out of time
