I normally get towed around by boats to stay on top of the water but not tried the waves yet, something I want to have a go at though. Was watching a surf program/film on TV the other night about river surfing in Germany and then around the world which looked awesome dude :)
 
haha that's wicked. do you kiteboard also? that's something else i want to learn to do
 
Yes, we do, hubby is a national kitesurf trainer and senior instructor. I kayak and kite buggy and pilot the cat.

Well, you know what we can do, have a zeddy meet next year to some watery fun :D

Sounds like a plan! The dilemma is always there tho, sunny day, roof down and out on the road or go out on the water :D

I've never sailed or flown kites so i need to learn that side of things. I'm used to having a 6litre V8 dragging me round rather than mother nature :)
 
Mother nature can easily drag you around if you so desire :D

I would have thought the x-cat would give you an adrenaline rush, it will give you 2.5g on a turn. How much quicker would you want to turn on a sixpence than that. We do lose the odd participant overboard, spinning out like a star fish =)) Its not always good for the photographer (me) to keep the camera from shaking though =))

the x-cat sounds similar to the ski boats, taking them to about 40mph and then turning them in their own length ;) Although i wouldn't want to lose anyone out of one of those with spinning props about so only done in controlled conditions! :)

Do you use Go Pro cameras or alike? A friend of mine put together a nice video of him in Hawaii a little while ago using a go pro. There's another one called the contour which is more expensive but has more features which also looks pretty good.
