Fuel Tank Strap Removal Struggle

I am removing one of the fuel tank straps from my z

This is the nearside strap, I have unbolted one end

I am battling to get the other end out of this bracket. I have tried all manners of wiggling and hammering, but to no avail.

Any help will be much appreciated,

Presumably you are replacing them with new 2 part straps, so just cut them off

Ahh, I realised that the other tank strap comes in two parts, but failed to see that this one comes in two parts as well. Silly me.
