Recently noticed that my original speakers at the front are not working. I admit they have had a intermittent fault and when I hit a bump in the road they then started to work. I have removed the stereo and checked all wires but all seems ok.
Any Ideas welcome.

There are several different stereo set ups for the Z3. One of the cheaper models has an amplifier attached to the left side foot well speaker. The main power relay (blue box about a 1" in size) on the circuit board has a habit of "loosing its suck" and not pulling in when powered on. A jolt from a bump is enough to help it close and power the amp for a while.

I had the sometimes working stereo on one of my Z3's and tracked down the faulty relay with a multi-meter. Changed the relay and had no problems since.

Many Thanks. Yesterday I replaced the Aerial base unit and both grommits. Therefore I now have a Radio that works fine...Went to start the car today and the battery is Flat. Does anyone know why this could be. I fitted everything fine in reverse as I took it apart.

Check your boot light goes out when you shut the boot lid. Set your phone on video to check you haven't dislodged something while you were in the boot.
