Is it possible if we keep the site as the z forum to have some sort of notification to notify us when a friend signs in, also what about being able to instant message folk, with maybe some sort of chat, a bit like instant messanger. I know we have the PM but to me thats more like a site email. Just a thought.

Yes it is possible to add some kind of chat functionality. It's not part of the default forum software so will need to be 'bolted on'.

It's on my (growing) list of things to investigate. No promises, but will see what we can do!

Its alright mozza i have given her a male chat line service, so she should be content, at least she will have someone to talk to her =))
