Freezing today.

I've came to the conclusion that it's just way to cold to be working today .
Last mot I done at the back of 11 took picture of the temp display

-3 is still way too cold only consolation is it's better than the -6 it was when I started if lucky might crack 0 'c before the sun goes and temp starts to fall again.
Roll on finishing time .

Wish I could close the doors.
It is kinda wet... well frozen wet

Problem is when you bring a car in it starts melting and dripping cold wet dirty salty water everywhere.

I have to say I'm not really missing that crap Steve, it's a horrible job but even where I worked we had the door down. I felt sorry for the tyre fitters in this weather as they're constantly working in water.

Absolutely hate it.
I'm always cold at the best of times so never look forward to winter.
Potential here for snow for at least another 8 -10 weeks

I wont lie Tony I am most jealous of the fact you have retired .
Yeah you might have a roof above your head but apart from that it's the same as being outside and on a day like today that's 9 hrs out in subzero temperatures still only 5 more to go

That's it starting to get dark and temperatures dropping but was out at 2.30 to another depot to pick some stuff up and it was a blistering hot 0.5' c at that point

Yeah it was I was in Kilmarnock which is still quite snowy compared to Ayr
