OK peeps just a little warning as per title Jan and I left for France on a few days break.

All was going well and arrived at our destination Dinan what a fantastic place

we decided to have a little rest after a long journey and a drink to sooth the days trials and tribulations

THEN THIS HAPPENED.
just minding our own business having a drink when we were approached by a couple of well I can only say suspects to say the least, yes we had been MINTED a new term on this forum

This crazy couple had travelled about 600 hundred miles taking about 12 hours to spend the few days with us in France what a great surprize.

we had a fantastic time to say the least just so glad we managed to get rid of them in the end as my liver would take no more.

just remember friends are not only for xmas but for life.
 
Andy Jan and I were absolutely gob smacked:woot:, they will have done about 1200 miles with 24 hours of driving:rally: bloody mad:nailbiting:
 
Great story of friendship.

However what I'm dying to know is how the Mints got 2 bikes on top of the Z so neatly?

Brittany mate what a lovely place, we visited Mount St Michael that was stunning and stayed in Dinan an old walled city will let Dave post the pictures, was well worth the visit and found the French people great very helpfull and polite:)

We hosted an exchange student from St Michael who lived in a 35 room home with her Dad! Never did get into France that far but do regret not taking up the offer of free accommodation and car rental as her Dad owned a rental co! Nice of the Mint's to show up to make your days even better!! JIM

Yep we know that area as Sara's parents live in Brittany,a little place called Le Moustoir,nearest town to them is Carhaix.
The people round there are nice enough as you say.
