Yep, it's been four years since I bought my Z3, still love it and have to walk past every now and again to look at it. Never spent this much time and money on a car before, all this messing about with suspension and brakes and stuff used to be avoided as much as possible, but I know it'll be worth it in the long run.:):):):):)
 
Similar page though only owned for two years. Spent about as much on her as I paid for her. Long term benefits :)
 
Had mine just over 4yrs. Bought a hard top and fitting kit, roll hoops, a few other bits and bobs. Oh, and now on my third set of wheels.

It's a labour of love. Since buying the Zed and joining this forum we've also acquired a whole new social life
 
4 or 5 years for me now without checking the log book. Love it, owes me more than it's worth and still spending but I don't care. It's here forever and a day so it's all for my benefit, the benefit of the car or @t-tony who appears to like working on it Lol! =))
 
I bought my Z3 7 years ago and sold it this time last year. For roughly 8-9 months I had two Z's. Like everyone else I can't imagine life without one now, made a lot of friends through this site.

We had our Z3 for 4 years till we sold it 3 years ago now into the 4th year of the Z4. Just been out in it today and as you say love it. Spent loads on both cars obviously more than i will ever recover.
Z3 had wheels x2. suspension x2 and Discs and Pads x2 all round
Z4 has had wheels x2. Scorpion Exhaust. Gaptec Module. Discs and pads all round and a tracker
Dont think i have finished either
 
Will have mine 5 years in July - spent nearly twice as much as I paid for the car and still going to a lesser degree. I may have to consider sill repair/replacements at some point - but not too bad at present. New hankook tyres all round will be fitted next Wednesday. Just had a wheel bearing replaced so all good for MOT on 5 May fingers crossed.
 
I like this thread as it really shows how this forum just makes owning a zed even better :thumbsup:.
We've had ours just over 2 years now and as others have said,have also spent more on it than any other car we've owned,because we love what it brings.
A great fun weekend car and made some real good friends on here,It's even made me more sociable :mad:.
Recently we seriously thought we were going to have to sell our Bob,due to completely unforseen circumstances.
But luckily we are through the other side of a s***e time now and have thankfully held on to him :D. Roll on dry weather and sunshine :cool:.

Nearly had to so the same with Reggie when I went into hospital Steve, Jue didn't want him to go but I saw no alternative. No names mentioned but we had an offer of a loan and an offer of buying Reggie and selling him back to me when I was back in my feet from forum members. Just amazing what this forum brings to some of us. I was truly humbled at the offers although I could never have accepted either. You know who you are.....thank you. :)
 
We're had our Z3 /Z4 about 8 1/2 years now :p
How quickly the time has gone :)
I still love my car ;)
