They are saying showers now, so we could be lucky and miss them. Depends how big they are:nailbiting:

to be honest, a drive around the forest in October in the sunshine was always going to be a lottery, with the odds stacked in favour of rain, I just told myself its going to rain, but I don't mind a bit (would be nice going top down but was always a long shot, there may still be sunny spells) the scenery is great, its a nice place to be and this time of year its fantastic. plus great company, whats not to like.

It can chase as much as it likes, it wont stop me =)) We're heading north early afternoon and overnighting in Wolves.

We'll be in the Great Western tonight for a get together with Jill's brothers and we'll be in York around mid day on Sunday.

We're not planning on going anywhere on Monday as we'll be sampling the wares of some of the 33 CAMRA pubs within the city walls and an annual visit to the Railway Museum.

Tuesday we'll be in Goathlands and Whitby.

Wednesday we plan to be in Scarborough and surrounding area.

Thursday we're homeward bound via a stop off at @Synclare to pick up some bits from Adrian.

Will be around 1000 mile round trip I imagine

Looking forward to this one. Arrived at the hotel with @Oldguysrule + Toni. Great place and would recommend it. Penyard House just outside of Ross on Wye on the A40.

We also have another Zed in the car park and a silver one arrived too. Interesting. Looking forward to a catch up over a meal with a few this evening. @Mint and co.
