Davyhoogy
Zorg Guru (III)
So all weekend we have been away at my cousins wedding in Durham castle.
It's been am amazing weekend, we just got home.
Anyway I thought I would share with you my uncles cars.
He's somewhat an expert in every field. He's built cars from the ground up doing every nut and bolt, bodywork and painting.
His father I believe had this corsair as standard and it was given to him when he was 19. He spent the next few years turning it into one of the best show cars in the world.
I do believe, along the way, becoming the first person to fit certain things to cars, certainly in Europe.
This was mid 70's I believe when this car was finished.. and it has not been out since its last show. Yet it started up fine and ran for the wedding.
Every single part is custom built.
I'll try get some interior pictures as it's even more outrageous than the outside.
He fitted some pistons with solenoids from God knows what to 'invent' door poppers, in the 70's. It did at one point have hydraulic suspension I believe too so would be the equivalent of today's air ride.
Your can also see in the background his most recent work, the VW camper, very recently done. And he has an old Ford model B I think that he's building too.
I tried to show the paint. It's stunning! Really is a head Turner wherever it goes.
