Dear all,

After 13 years of very happy ownership I’ve decided to sell my beloved 2002 Z3 Roadster 3.0i.

Following my retirement my wife and I invested in a campervan which takes up a lot of our leisure driving time now and I am just not using the Z enough now to justify keeping it.

I am just the second owner having purchased the car back in 2013 from an elderly gentleman who had owned the car from new and had covered just 11,000 miles in 11 years of ownership. The car was garaged by him and has also been by myself since I took on ownership.

Over the last 13 years I have covered an additional 37,600 miles and the car has been faultless other than one replacement hose, a replacement ABS sensor some years ago and more recently an O ring on the power steering reservoir cap.

It has a full service history, I have used a local BMW performance specialist (based near Brands Hatch, Kent) who service and MOT it for me each year. I have just ordered a new service booklet from BMW as the original one is now full ! I therefore have the full Service history plus full MOT history along with my service receipts.

Back in 2021 I had the paintwork ceramic coated which is still protecting the car well with it being garaged when not in use. I fitted a new battery in 2024 and generally keep the car on trickle charge when not in use for any lengthy periods. Bodywork is free from any dents and the paintwork is excellent with just a few small stone chips and scratches commensurate with age.

The car has a 5 speed Steptronic automatic transmission which is like having two cars in one. A lovely lazy auto transmission when mooching along but great sporty performance when in manual mode.

Most importantly I have a removable hard roof which goes on for winter months driving and is removed and stored on its own OEM stand when not in use.

The original owner pretty much went through the entire BMW accessories list when he ordered the car. Below is a summary of the spec

I’m not currently advertising the car anywhere other than here as I ideally want it to go to an enthusiast who will hopefully have a much pleasure from it as I have done. I’m looking for £10,000 for the car, but happy to have a realistic discussion with a serious buyer. If you are interested and wish to discuss further please message me. Happy to share any other info I have and additional pictures. You’re welcome to view the car (I’m in North Kent). I still currently have the hard top on for winter.

Cracker of a car that 👌.
Definitely an appreciating modern classic.

I'd be highly tempted to store it away but everyone's circumstances are different.

Good luck !

3 litre Z3 pretending to be Italian exotica. Two previous E89 Z4s.
My initial thoughts were it is expensive. But having read through the ad properly; with the hard top, low owners, garaged all it's life and comprehensive service history I reckon it's probably worth the money.
The 3 litre M54 engine is definitely the one to have in the Z3 IMO. GLWTS. :)
