On our way to Portsmouth we stopped at Birchanger for a coffee, when we came out the sun was shining so we lowered the roof. There was a sickening thund as the roof went in the boot cavity, so we put the roof up again and continued on our journey. We notice the satnav stayed in Birchanger and realised the noise we heard had broken something, possibly the aerial. Luckily we had our trusty old Tom-Tom, which is now guiding us through France. We will try & post up a few pictures as we progress.

Hope there's not too much damage to the Satnav system Mike. Have a great time both of you:thumbsup:
Look forwards to your messages.

Nothing beats a map and a good co-pilot - hope damage is minimal!

Hope the weather is a lot better where you are M&S. I went to work in the rain and came home in the rain, and, it rained in between too.:(

Occasionally had a thump as the roof opens on Gail's car. There's a fair amount of metal being moved around. Hopefully nothing is broken on yours.

Shirl's Eos does too Ian. There's some hefty lumps of metal being moved around.

Tony.
