Yes, I think it might be the end for my poor Z3!

Good news guys. Took the car to another local garage. They specialise in classic cars. Fuel line had been chewed through by a rat. No need to strip out the suspension or fuel tank. Big relief. All repaired £130! Result!

Hi @Neil Canning , to the forum from me too in Staffordshire. I believe there is a fuel filter abouf where you're describing your leak. It maybe that. Keep us informed please

Thanks a lot. I was fearing the worse but am relieved it wasn’t too serious. Now looking into buying serious rat poison!

Air rifle is much more fun, I use an Air arms S410 Carbine for rats, just bait them for a few days and then wait, they are not as clever as some make out and the first night with the rifle will see up to a dozen with a head shot
