Floppy gear stick?

Im thinking of going to have a look at a Z3M thats being sold from a trader.
Below is the reply to a couple of questions i asked.

The car runs and drives well. Personally I’d leave the body how it is but there’s the rust on two panels as shown in the advert. The seat bushes have worn which is a common Z3 fault and a £10 fix. The gear stick bushes have worn slightly too. So the gear knob sits slightly to the right. All gears go in perfectly and fine without crunching. That’s everything I can think of. No alloys are curbed. All tyres have tonnes of life. (budgets) Recently serviced. 12 month MOT. It’s good to go.

Car also has a full serivce stamped book but no other service history in the way of bills/invoices.

If that’s all that’s wrong with the car I would be very happy. But then I would also eat my hat!

The average Z3 typically has a lot more needing doing to it than that. So be careful.
