Floods.

A lot of water about here in Derbyshire, the shallow little brook at the bottom of my sister's garden is now at least15 - 20 feet deep.Fortunately before it gets any higher it floods over the road and down the valley. Hope none of our members are getting flooded.

Our small stream burst it’s banks and flooded our sheep shed with 500 pregnant ewes giving birth , not ideal but so much better than if they were outside ,I used to do it before we built the shed and it could be heartbreaking in extreme weather

Shrewsbury is sinking fast and its not predicted to peak until sometime Wednesday. Ironbridge is likely to flood tomorrow as well.

Just said to Mike, I'm going to have a walk down the Trent bank tomorrow as I see/hear that it is getting ready to come over next village down at Laughterton. Dunham Bridge could end up being closed too. Mind you at least it would stop the Banjo playing types from Mansfield coming over ....................

its probably coming
Saw the Trent quite high the other day, and theres lots of flooding from it further upstream, so its probably coming.

Yup, all the flood water we've had in Derbyshire flows down into the Trent.

Used to live right by the Severn.
Now we're by the coast I guess we're in danger of storms but if it floods this high up the cliff I reckon half the country would be under water.
