Cars sure are a money and time sink haha. There's always a million products and fixes you hadn't considered.
@oldcarman I had the papers signed and submitted and I was so close to getting that M3. I could technically afford the car but after all that they cropped up asking for a down payment that had not previously mentioned. Early lessons in dealing with car dealers there.
At the time I hadn't got confirmation of sale on my 528i which would cover the cost. I have that confirmation now but in the mean time my father wisely convinced me to walk away.
So I guess I'll be smart and just focus on all the little jobs for the Zed. Nothing mechanical thankfully, just install new seat bushes, finish speaker install, fix problem where audio only comes from passenger side (requires a new connecting thing behind radio/cassette I think?) And while I'm in there get the lights behind the air con knobs connected again. I can now also add the technique in the video to that list too.
Oh and continue wondering what's causing the rear tyre wear god damn it.
There's other little things and cosmetic changes I'd like to make too but for now this is the list. Lol.
And yes if you can fool someone who has time to work on your car that's far and away the better choice haha. I have a friend who does things for me here and there.
