It's the bracket on the rear axle which the upper radius arm is attached to, or isn't. I'll post some more pictures later Tanvic's Wi-Fi is dreadfully slow.

My goodness, how dangerous :p
I wouldn't like to be driving that piece of rust bucket :)

Can make it out now. Must have been like that for more than 12 months looking at the state of it.
Is that the brake line that’s gone with it?
Coil looks none to happy either.

Now in my experience that’s possibly a fail ;)

Every year another piece has fallen off. Last year it was the offside bottom link bracket on the axle casing. The year before was the right hand side of what you see here. It is a total piece of scrap. But it will be repaired, serviced and it will come back next year.

There is a point where it really isn't worth it, you would think they would scrap and buy a solid one

No mate, that was the ABS cable and luckily it hadn't over stretched it and b******* it.

The guy obviously likes his Landcruiser!
Surely not that bad tho for a 22 year old off roader.

Ha,Ha. Never been off road in its life mate.

Keep driving it in that state and it will be going off road - straight through a hedge

Must be the school run that's done it
Haven't had much to do with Landcruiser's. My wife has had a Discovery 2 for several years and it's been fine with no rot at all which is rare for the 2 as the back end of the chassis tends to fall off. I would say a large majority of them have never been off road either. I'll just add that ours has been off road so thats not why it has mo rot, it gets pressure washed underneath whenever it gets grubby.
