Are there any Reynolds Boughton vehicles there? Reynolds Boughton were, may be still are, coach builders who used to be based at Winkleigh (RAF Winkleigh) in North Devon. They used to be one of my customers when I was repping for Lloyds in late 80's and 90's.

They specialised in airport firefighting vehicles and compacting recycling lorries

I'm not sure to be honest Garry, in true military fashion they were mostly referred as;

MK5
MK6 based on the Salamander 6x6.
MK7 A sweet Rolls Royce engine
MK8 a 4.2 jag engine just to drive the pump!
MK9 the Daddy
MK10/A/B/C/D/EA
MK11
MK11A
MK12
MFV
RIV
TACT
ACRT
TACR 1
TACR 2
TACR 2A
and a load of what we referred to as Domestic Vehicles.

Predominantly RAF/Military but all the Domestic pumps we used/still use are all Local Authority. Some will be there mate, albeit older models from yesteryear

Nice run from there to the coast at sunny Cleethorpes for fish and chips afterwards. One for the future?

Very interesting Andy not too far from my daughter in Grimsby try make a point of visiting next time I am down .
Think I had told you before that my dad was in the fire service along with my uncle but he had left the service after the whiskey bond fire at Cheapside st and one of the engines he had served with and my uncle had driven is in the Transport Museum in Glasgow.

I've put a link up mate so you can track info. The Museum list its home last year so moved here on a temp basis, hoping to make it permanent. If they do they'll unpack the thousands of fire service memorabilia.
