Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Enjoying my zed and have already decided that the first Winter task is to replace the sills.
Found a brilliant article on how to remove & refit on the forum and it doesn't look too difficult even for me.
My sills have rusted at both ends on the underside next to the wheels - i took the inner arch liners out and removed a pile of dirt. I will tart them up meantime best i can, but ideally will replace later in the year, as they are not too noticeable unless you get down & look.
I have searched the forum and found a couple of threads about purchasing new sills at £150+ each from dealers, but also mention of fibreglass option - does anyone know of any fibreglass/plastic options available, or any other supplier of new parts other than the dealers?

@Stormy_be has pattern moulded most body parts for a pre facelift 2.8 i believe he produces them in fibre glass. Not heard of anyone else doing it and his quality looks supurb.

This might just be me after a couple of drams, but how do I start a new thread on this thing?

@Redsheep At the top of this page click on "Forums" scroll down to the forum you want, say, Beauty Parlour and click on that heading. This opens the Beauty Parlour page, at the right hand side is a box saying " Post new thread" click on that box and away you go.

Hello,

I have been creating fiberglass sills.
But shipment to the uk remains a real pain. (Which will not improve with Brexit)
Therefor I'm focussing on the belgian/benelux market for the moment.
