Ordered these new sills on the 6th of August, and arrived today the 25th of September.Now for the hard part in finding the time to fit them.

Hi mate.. your lucky bmw told me that they don't know when they will get hold of any passenger side sills... none in uk or Germany...

After I ordered them, one side came to the dealers after a few days, but the other side took all the time. The guy in the dealers said that they were selling quite a few recently, but never said how many or over what time scale.
I decided to order them now just incase Brexit complicates maters later in the year.

Good idea Alan.. I think a visit to Dick Lovett bmw in bristol tomorrow is on the cards... like they said to you I can get drivers side in 2 days .... as a matter of interest where did you order yours

I ordered them at Coopers BMW in Sunderland as it is local to me. Also I'm a member of the BMW car club and was told that they would give me 15% discount on the parts, so it was a no brainer.

Hi Dave how bad is your sill ? i still have the pair that were taken off mt 3L last year and from memory the one you want is not to bad, If you might be interested let me know and i will get them down from 1st floor of garage where they are stored and check for you and send pic Geoff

Hi Geoff.. mate if you could have a look at the passenger side sill for me that would be great.. my car is a facelift model so I'm not sure if they are comparable if pre facelift..

The sills were off my 2002 3L
I will look and if it is reasonable send you a pic, it’s Titan Silver
