Welcome from a fellow 3.0si owner. Looks like you have found a nice one. Defo get the Gaptec really good bit of kit. Also check to see if the roof motor has been relocated to the boot, if not then i would recommend getting this done. Cheap preventative and will save a lot of cost if the drain holes block and you get water into the Pump area. Also if its going to be a keeper then plan on changing the water pump and thermo at around 65k miles as these too can be problematic and they are not cheap

Hi Billz,
Not sure if this is good or not, when the previous owner bought the car in 2014 he also bought an extended warranty, 2 weeks after he bought it the motor packed up so the whole lot was apparently replaced under warranty. When I get some time I'm going to have a poke around and see if I can find out exactly what was done also get underneath and make sure drain holes are clear.

The drain holes are "behind" the front of the rear wheel arch liners at the rear end of the sill. If that makes sense. I checked mine when I had the rear bumper off to fit the rear parking sensors.

Tony.

Technically I’ve already introduced myself, but this is more an intro to my wheels, so I’ve finally found & taken delivery of my Z4, it’s a 2006 3.0Si Sport auto with 44,500 miles on it.

Night Blue metallic with pearl leather - It has SatNav, 6 speed with paddle shift, heated, electric memory seats, cup holders, cruise control and Xenon lights.

It also apparently has M Sport Suspension,M Leather Steering Wheel, Electric M Sport Seats and M Wheels, (but M sport cupholders).

I would like to say thank you again to @Lazzydog, @AleNod, @Paul and especially @t-tony who gave up several hours of his time and trusted me with his car for a fabulous couple of hour drive which defo made up my mind.

Upgrade/changes I’m planning :-
· Parrot MKi9200 bluetooth adaptor
· DRLs with controller
· Headlight eyebrows
· USB power output
· Front skirt protector
· Gaptec RCH unit
· Centre console/armrest
· Cup holders (not sure if I mentioned it before, but it hasn’t got any)

It doesn’t have run flat tyres, so I’d be interested in what I should carry in the way of compressor, pump up stuff etc. View attachment 107743 View attachment 107743 View attachment 107745 View attachment 107747 View attachment 107749

Hi and welcome.

Nice colour combo and great mileage, one you can cherish for years. I had a manual box on my Coupe, but have also driven the auto and it suits the car really well.

Enjoy!
