Hi just bought a srs airbag reset tool diagnostic can't find connection inside car one under bonnet don't match up but advertised as ok for z3 am I missing something or is it wrong one

Hi @6251Andrew2 I think the diagnostic plug is on the other side of the engine bay.

If you have the round connector you're okay if not you will need it to hook up in the engine compartment!! JIM

ignore the above, just looked at your photo!


it looks like you have the remains of an old adaptor stuck in your socket

Disconnect battery and the try pulling each pin out with a pair of pliers. Be careful!

this is what it should look like

if that metal ring is loose, you need to get that out asap. you don't want that shorting pins!

The ones shown in the picture are on the n/s front inner wing, the one he needs is on the o/s front inner wing as in Brian's picture.
