Sensor issue
Easy to sort?

If it's the one in the front of the engine then yes (if you have good tools to get the fan off and get the toes bolts off the sensor (they can be tight so I rounded my bolt a bit).
My local garage dos it in half an hour, I fagfed for hours but was fun (sort of).

If it's the one under the intake manifold that looks not so easy or fun but I've seen diy guides, I think on Pelican parts.

I can't remember which is which one is a camshaft position sensor and the other a Crankshaft position sensor.

The CPS on my 2.0 was near to the starter motor and was a right bi*** to fit. The cam shafts each have their own sensor, the exhaust cam sensor is at the front and very easy to fit while the inlet cam sensor is a little more involved and lives behind the oil filter housing and Vanos solenoid.

I did mine on a ramp at work Dave, it as held by a 5mm Allen screw. Make sure, if you have a go, that you get the tool right into the screw head or you could round it out then it will be painful.
We had such a car in last week where the owner had a go and b******* the screw up.

I'm gona have to source a lend of some proper ramps, and get the oils done at the same time while it's up!
How do I know which sensor it is then? Or is it the most forward one..

There is only one position sensor for the crankshaft (unless yours is different from mine) and that's the one at the rear of the engine near the starter motor. The other ones are camshaft position sensors.
