Wow, that was a fantastic race!

Massa was a man posessed, Hamilton runs out of luck and Schumaker runs out of braking distance...

Done me no favours at all with my predictions.

Woo hoo, I've gone up a place in the table (at the expense of Swamper)!

The big shock of the day wasn't Hamilton retiring, but billz being knocked off the top of the table... :-o

Lewis Hamilton camp instigated Mercedes move - Ross Brawn

BBC

Lewis Hamilton's exit from McLaren was instigated by the British driver's representatives, Mercedes team principal Ross Brawn has revealed.

Hamilton, 27, announced on Friday that he has signed a three-year deal with Mercedes to replace Michael Schumacher.

Hamilton's arrival has left seven-time world champion Schumacher, 43, considering whether to retire from the sport or find a new drive for the 2013 season.

Lewis Hamilton's decision to leave McLaren is a "mistake", according to their team principal Martin Whitmarsh.

Hamilton's departure has prompted McLaren to sign Sauber driver Sergio Perez as his replacement.

Bugger, should have been Raikkonen......... X(

I don't think Kimi would have wanted to go back there, too much press work and lotus seem to be letting him get on with what he wants to do. Seems much happier than when he was near the end with Ferrari. Would be nice to see what he could do with the mclaren again though ;)

The real shock is that I'm in 5th inspite of not having made a prediction since May! Looks like I'll have to get my act together if I want to win :ymdevil:

I think Perez has driven well this season, and will be interesting to see what he can do with the Mclaren. Schumie to Sauber?????

I think the jury is still out on wether it will be Masa or Hulkenberg at Ferrari.

I think Hamilton has made a mistake but not really bothered, feel a little bit sorry for Rosberg though.

Interesting season again next year lol!

Damit, first the BBC and now the Dutch channel that aired live F1 will not be doing it next season..pay to view..thanks Bernie....... :-q

Oh, and then this.......

Jenson Button will drop five places on the grid for Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix because McLaren need to change the gearbox on his car.

Button's car has the same problem that forced team-mate Lewis Hamilton to retire while leading in Singapore.

Speakers on full for this :D

Final edit of the Red Bull RB7 driving the 1.5 mile long Lincoln Tunnel from Weehawken to Manhattan and back again. No filler, no riff raff, just the sweet sounds of the RB7 engine.

Another beautiful day at the beach in the Dominican Republic with plenty of sand, sun, water, and a Red Bull Formula One show car!
The first ever F1 Beach Run in Playa Juanillo was a success as Jaime Alguersuari drove the RB6 race car along the beach and even got a little wet in the process

For those with some chance of getting near the top of the Zorg league, don't forget to set your predictions for Japan.

I will be making my usual incompetent selections in a minute...

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber set the pace in final practice for the Japanese Grand Prix.

BBC
Hamilton narrowly avoided what would have been a terrifying accident when he came across Marussia's Charles Pic dawdling on the line on the approach to the chicane when Hamilton was approaching at 200mph.

And Button gesticulated angrily at Schumacher after the German, on a slow lap, failed to get out of his way through the flat-out 200mph 130R corner just before the chicane.
