It certainly does suggest something isn't quite right though when so many drivers were crossing the line. I know there is the argument that if there was a gravel trap you'd be in it, and the circuit has always been this shape.

But the current oversize, over weight "lard barges" can't get round without sacrificing a chunk of speed. I say, give them a couple of feet more circuit to keep the speeds up and the cars flowing.

Bit then they'd just go faster still and back to square one, savage kirbs maybe?

My points haul might be rubbish, but that was a great race!

Makes me wonder if the newer "designed" circuits just ain't as good as the older ones.
