My Z failed it's MOT today :p
But it's going in the garage on Friday to have the work done :)
Needs new brake pipe front to back :)
Not bad for the age of the car ;)

In the greater scheme of things not a disaster. On the + side, you'll have new brake pipes

Yes it’s ok for the MOT :p
Quite good really ;)

Not that bad Shelly as its only one item and hopefully not that expensive to fix. Most of us who've had Z3s know of this problem and had mine fixed a couple of years back. Keep smiling you should have it back same
day.

Roy.:)

The Z goes in Friday and I get it back that day too , :p
I was dreading the MOT but it’s less work than I thought it would be ;)

My focus failed today in yet another broken coil spring. It's only 22k :(.
Yours has done pretty well for any older car Shelly. What year is it?

Think it's 14 years old now :p

It's something that bmw and mercedes don't do very well is brake pipes they rot fairly quickly compared to some on much lower spec brands of car

Yep my Z4 failed this year on the same, when they showed me the pipe that came off you could snap it like a twig, pretty scary TBH that it was that bad. Its times like that when you MOT tester is your best friend

Just a brake pipe, thats not bad....but ......going to the garage friday??????

Put your pinny and marigolds on and get under and fix it =))

Have you done that long one from front to back it’s horrible, but then not as bad as the one across the bulkhead from ABS to off side now that was fun.

I had an advisory a few years ago on front to rear brake pipe, got it replaced shortly afterwards so that the car would be OK the following year. I got the front to back pipe and both rear brake lines done at the same time whilst the mechanics were working on the brakes.
