Now you've got all options that I'm aware of so as to make an almost informed choice

You do know you're going to have everyone asking you to do different colours for their hoods.

BTW, can you show me what mine will look like with a dark green hood?

I agree. I was going to powder coat them back to silver, but now I may keep them black.

I only washed the car at the weekend. It's filthy again...

If you can get close to body colour it generally looks great; otherwise stay black IMO.

I think you're pretty close to the truth there. But there are some exceptions - burgundy on a silver car looks good for example. And probably the same colour on black too.

I guess it's match or contrast appropriately. I dare say silver and black are opposite burgundy on one of these colour wheel things.

I was going to have a green top on my Z3 which was Oxford Green but ended up selling it.
