I ordered 3 oil changes from our favourite oil supplier and they sent in the box some lovely air fresheners. Dont usually use them but this time like a dope i hung one on the little parcel shelf on the coupe

Never use the mini cab hanging ones.
If I do want a nice smell, I get those ones in a little tin.

BMW actually really smart one that clips on the air vent- a little modern looking for the Z3 but looks smart.

VPower and burnt rubber smells better anyway

I had that happen to my black Z , I wrote to the company complaining about what had happen, and they weren’t interested,I took photos to show the company in my email to them , I did post it on here to show people what it had done , I never normally buy air fresheners but it was on offer , so I thought I’d get one , I’ll never buy one again

If it does that to paintwork can you imagine what those chemicals are doing to the inside of your lungs?

Hopefully you can order that replacement part or trim those parts at the back with vinyl or leather, that really suck feels your pain.

I've never used these cheap s*** air fresheners since Shelly posted about the problems a few years ago. I only use ones which clip on the air vents now.
