Now we are allowed to go out in the car to enjoy the great outdoors we have taken to walking the Leicestershire Round in small stages (102 miles) so we have had 6 circular afternoon walks any taken the roofless car out as the weather has been lovely.
Social distancing is easy as we very rarely see any other people. Lovely countryside within 40 minutes of home.

You lucky people

We are still being told to stay at home, and I have huge amount of very quite walking areas within very short drive of me.

and unfortuntly no Fish & Chip shop with an outside bench to eat them on --- rules say thats OK

Sorry to hear you can't get out yet but i'm sure you will soon and the weather holds as well, Just to probably annoy you even more :):):thumbsup:our village chippy is doing home deliveries or order by phone and arrange a pick up time. They has started home deliveries before this started so had the systems in place.

Mondays walk sorted.

Like you Brian we've been doing lots of walking from home since lockdown (175 miles at the last count), but never more than about three miles from home. Hardly ever see anyone either;)

You missed part of my point

The Welsh health Minister went out with his family on a Sunday and bought Fish & Chips which they sat on a bench with a table to enjoy them Next day the rules seemed to be clarified/changed to allow that. The bench has afterwards been fenced off so its not in general use, reason it needed a new litter bin.

@abh29 sorry missed the news item on the health minister, but not the first times rules are modified :ymdevil::ymdevil:

Still continuing our tour round the county and found some pleasant villages and some great walking country.

We kept away from the livestock as one looked a bit possessive
