Exhaust Repair

Does anyone know anywhere I can get some flanges or another option/ideas to repair the flanges on this exhaust from a 2.2 Z3.

What sort of mouse did you have in the engine bay? I think you will be looking at replacement manfiolds and not individual flanges.

Dont know how to do a link… So just took a photo

searched ……BMW exhaust flange…. These have to be welded on .

These are a matching pair but there are other options…..

Thanks, It’s unfortunate as the Manifold side has survived and seems to be is ok.

You can get the two flanges that go just on the exhaust pipe side …. You bolt them to the manifold …After cutting the damaged flanges off get the two exhaust pipes to line up , and tack weld them , then unbolt the flange and finish the welding.

Fiddly, but not a difficult job

If you have an exhaust specialist around where you are they may be able to fit new flanges for you .
As i take it this is the flange on the centre section with the secondary cats

I had a quote to put new flanges on at £360. Or two have pipes welded in at £108
