Called custom pipes this morning @Antm72 ,quoted £320 and they might be able to do it tomorrow, depending on how they get through the days work.
That's not bad then mate Defo not the bottom one I had a staggered pipe the stagger fits the bumper curve nicely.

Its all in the eye of the believer Steve. Mine are turned up and like you had the choice, except if there's a legit argument against either one which I don't believe there is, get the fitter to show you what it'd look like with either one. Your motor your choice in the end, personally I like both in your pic, gonna look great with whatever,:thumbsup:no worries.

For what it's worth I choose top one. As @Rha says though it's best to see them mocked up before deciding

Good luck ! Dave

Well I'm sat having a cold drink while the boys at custom pipes work their magic on a new exhaust for me :).
Unfortunately they don't have the offset tail pipes to suit a zed ,so I've opted for the standard type but hopefully it'll be an improvement on the old one.

I'll post some pics later and report back on the all being well, fruity sound effects.

Maybe it's a bit loud, but at the moment I'm liking it :).

Certainly fills the cut out now, there's not much room between the tail pipes and the bumper and when the car's been running the tail pipe is right against the bumper on the left.
Might have to make a return visit for them to tweak it and maybe add a middle box, seems to get louder when it's hot but it definitely sounds like a sports car now and not a milk float :D.

Just took Jess's boyfriend out in it and he loves it,so do I but I'm about to take Sara out...........I may be sporting a soar left ear in a bit :nailbiting:.

Nice one Steve. Looks very nice. It'll only get louder with time, I opted to have a straight through and when it was fitted I found it just a tiny bit on the quiet side but a few months in and it's gotten a lot louder. Mine also has a tendency to burn the bumper edges.

Ooooooh you naughty boy, what was the cost if you don't mine me asking, I have a 2.8 pot burning a hole in my pocket. I do fancy quad pipes though.

Looks the dogs as they say Steve although a tight fit. Don't worry too much about the burnt bumper on the left side, it's the natural swing as the engine is driven and takes up the drive. I've actually releaved mine by something like 2-3cm over the years, if it's left touching it could produce a significant drone through the body. Mine still moves within a cm of the left side.

Thanks Faheem :).
I really don't want mine to get any louder t.b.h and I realise it will though as you said,so I think to be on the safe side I'll take it back and get a mid box fitted.

Has yours damaged the paint on the bumper ?.

Naughty is how I feel now when I'm driving it,turns a sedate driver into a right hooligan ;).

It was £320 @Sean d,cheaper than other quoted I got.

I also seriously considered quad pipes as well for ages, then decided against it.

Cheers Roy :).
There is drone noise around 2k rpm,it resonates in the car but when you give it the beans it sounds really sweet and makes me chuckle.
