Hello folks,
I just picked up a 2002 Z3 2.5 auto. The car had been treated pretty badly (I think some teenager may have gotten their hands on it and began 'building a race car' based on some of the creative repairs I have seen... I was there once, so I cant look down too harshly on this =)
I got the car for a song because it was a non runner when I got it (someone replaced a timing chain or head gasket and setup the timing incorrectly). The car has great compression and since I set the timing correctly it runs like a top! It does have some other electrical drama I plan to search the forum for clues on (or if I cannot find one, start one), but in the meantime I wanted to say thanks for adding me! I have had several E46's and one 1997 Z3 in the past, but will certainly be looking for help still.
