Every morning .......

We're had its Friday night but what do you do when you first get up in the morning ..... :p
I always switch my iPad on and have a look at my mail from zroaster ......
I think I'm addicted ....... Don't know how many times a day I look at this site as even if I've been out it's the first thing i do When I get home ;)
Do you all do this or is it a girly thing :)
There should be two welcome events here. The first is the welcome to the forum. Then, after its got you in its clutches, welcome to the club. Frankie

That's weird as when I went to reply to your post I got the extra sentence about having another grandson on your birthday if all goes to plan , but it doesn't say that in your post ;)
Yeah you can give the grandchildren chocolate and ice cream , get them all hyped up , and still have a relaxing night , not that we would do that , but they do wear you out sometimes , our like to play monopoly at the moment , so it's easy at the moment to get that game out , I'm taking it easy whilst I can as next week they might have me playing footy etc ;)
Shelly's quote: "our like to play monopoly at the moment , so it's easy at the moment to get that game out.."
Hey, Shelly, the next time you get the monopoly game out, point to Arkansas ave. and tell them that's where your friend Frankie works.

I only have my iPhone at the moment but Trinity , who lives with us, wakes me every morning with a kiss cuz I'm her Prince Charming. We snuggle for a few minutes and then start her daily prep for school. Then I get to check what's happened in the Zed world overnight. Being retired, I check in several times a day. Never found another forum this dedicated not just to the car but to all other members. My only wish is that some of the members who I see are online would comment once in a while in order to get a perspective on their personality. I'm sure once they jump in they will also become addicts. JIM

It must have taken all of one day to get a perspective on me.

The forum is great because of the people. I'm addicted too and if I don't work on the cars (and the hands are dirty), I always check several times a day, the forum!
I agree with you regarding the grandsons, but unfortunatelly my boys, 30 and 24, don't think on getting married and having childrens yet.....and I'm getting older and the back start to hurt, and the mobility it's not so good to play football or others outdoor sports....but this is life, we pay the price for our freedom, who changed mentalities and young generation is very carefull with starting a couple........
Right now I started the preparations for the participation to the annual meeting of the Italian club Z3mendi where I'm a membership. It will be held in the week end 26-28 Sept in Tuscany and there are 94 cars registered.
Hope the weather will be great , because my presence there will make the Meeting international; for the moment I'm the only foreigner in the club, but I don't feel it as They are all great guys and I faeel always like a family!
Hope to send you some images from the places I will cross.
It will be the first and last event Z3, for me this year......:)
wish you all a great week!

Still working on you godfather Frankie. Going somewhere between bipolar and teddy bear. lol, JIM

What a great vid Zeti. It's nice to put a face to the name. Looks like some beautiful roadwAys and scenery and your car looks great. JIM

A beautiful clip made by one of the members, which I like to open in every morning (of Winter) , when I can't use the Zed:

This is an utterly outstanding professional quality video which I first saw on the .net site about 2 years ago. The guy goes under the name of Paradroid and he created the video himself. I love the interplay between the sound and visuals, and hey, I don't really like Coldpay, except in this video!......I get a little tingle each time I view it.
I do wish he would wear a seatbelt though!

The other video I love to watch is the Sonax one where the girl in the white tee shirt and denim shorts washes a red Z3! There is some audio/visual stuff going on in this too, but I think the girl is lovely. Far more appealing (to me anyway) than the usual pneumatic, painted ladies that you usually see in car wash videos.

By the way, my S.O.H. bypass operation has been delayed yet again! Exploratory proceedures indicated complications so deep seated that a specialist living in Germany, a Professor Erik Shurn, is the only surgeon with sufficient expertise to attempt the bypass, so giving me a good chance of a balanced S.O.H. free life afterwards.

Yours, in trepidation,

Bonzo

We keep our fingers crossed for you and hope the surgery gets quick & good, so the next season to be full for you!:)
What life will be without these trials?...

My 3 legged Ginger (ex) Tom William wakes me as soon as it gets light each morning by howling out ( he is deaf) for food or sometimes for affection, or both. In the summer this means around 4am, so sometimes I have a cuppa on the terrace listening to the birdsong and the world around me waking up. I then go back to bed for a sleep until getting up anytime between 7.30 and 9.00am. Unless an earlier start is required if we are doing something. ( When I do wake up again, sometimes William is fast asleep with his head on my shoulder and his one front leg under my neck!) I get breakfast in bed for myself and Mrs. Bonzo, cereal or porridge and tea for her, coffee for me.

William is very affectionate and tolerant with people. Our Granddaughters love him. Sophie, nearly 2, lays down in front of him and nose to nose says "Helloooo Weeum and he doesn't bat an eyelid. We even saw her lying down that close to him when he was feeding and he was not fussed at all. They both stroke him quite inexpertly sometimes but if they get too rough he just wanders away. He loves anyone's lap, but if he see another cat, he's after it in a flash. he chased a younger bigger ginger tom (with all it's legs) down our drive. He can gallop as fast on 3 legs as on 4, but lurches when he walks.

Sorry, going on a bit there.

Bonzo

You need therapy!

The cat is the therapy.;)

We just wondered who Tom William was with ginger hair, Bonzo, and when was he your ex!!!:D
Lovely story, though, you don't need therapy, just a publisher!!!

I am actually on/off writing a book about being a teenager in the 60s .About life, girls, the music, playing in bands etc. and growing into the person I am today. Really it's just for the grand children and their children and so on through their families. There is so much I don't know about members of my family and it's such a shame.

Awwwwwww!! he's so handsome!!! Just like his master!!!

What band were you in?

We sat up until 3am on Sat night watching a programme on fashion and music from the sixties, bought back a lot of memories, but we didn't see Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick, Tich & Bonzo!!:D
